Nude Study (J) is an original, one-of-a-kind pastel painting on canvas (unframed).

The painting is a loose treatment of a female nude, seen from the back.  With its abstract use of colour and shapes, it contrasts the illusion of the reality of the figure with the physical material of the painting.
