Palmas is an original, one-of-a-kind pastel painting on paper mounted on board.

Palmas refers to the rhythmic clapping that accompanies flamenco song and dance. We see the dancer between steps emphasizing the music with her hand percussion.

This painting won an Honourable Mention award at the PastelArtists.CA 30th Annual ‘Purely Pastel’ juried show.

It measures 15 x 23 inches. I painted the work in 2021; it is signed on the front.
