Self-Portrait With Mask is an original, one-of-a-kind pastel painting on paper mounted on foamcore (unframed).

This painting is also part of my move into looser treatment of both medium and content. Masks have always fascinated me, and in this painting the mask held in front of my face stimulates speculation about what we reveal to each other in our faces, and what we hide.

This picture was featured in the 2023 Portrait Society of America Self-Portrait Showcase.

Measuring 16 x 20 inches, it is ready to frame and hang. I painted the work in 2021; it is signed on the front.
